The Simple Photo Minute (and later Dane’s Photo Minute) was where it all started with efforts to make a contribution to the photo industry and beyond. Despite rarely being simple and never only a minute, this was to my knowledge the very first video podcast to photographers.

My friend and fellow OSP founding member, Melissa Jill, did this awesome SPM a few weeks ago and I wanted to share it with you guys. It literally puts you in the seat of her clients when they meet with her and it’s guaranteed to inspire!
Truth is, I bet her booking rate and those who do it like her, will just go through the roof. Great job Melissa!

The Power of Blogging!

Can blogging get overwhelming sometimes? Sure. But blogging can also help you stay fresh and alive in people’s eyes if you do it well. But there’s an even better reason to blog than just trying to stay creatively relevant … the truth is people are dying to be led. All of us! And, I for one am often led best by those who are driven by passions bigger than themselves. These passions move me. I suspect they move you too. Blogging gives you a chance to do just that … it’s a free megaphone to shout your passions to the planet!
