Together, we can make it better. By asking each other the tough questions, we are able to grow personally, move forward in our businesses, create community and impact our industry.
It is personal AND business! Remembering someone’s name and being authentically interested in who they are speaks volumes. We want to support each other personally, AND encourage one another to action in our businesses, leading to successful lives.
Consistency matters. Knowing there is a place and time to gather monthly, creates something people can count on.
Collaboration is key. The very idea that we are better together means we are working TOGETHER. When we ask for help and offer our help, without judgement, we build trust and create a safe space, opening up more collaboration.
Everyone brings something to the table. We do not want to perpetuate a consumer culture, but create one where everyone contributes. Each person is valuable and has something valuable to contribute. The more we facilitate this attitude of openness, the more we can learn from others, even those whose opinions might differ from ours.
Leaders grow other leaders. When you facilitate rather than teach, you provide space for other people to shine. The more we look for opportunities to give responsibility to others, the more the ownership of the group spreads. This is the core of being Better Together.
True success is holistic. Taking care of yourself physically, relationally, financially, emotionally and spiritually will have a direct effect on our ability to lead.
