003-EpisodeIf you made it out to WPPI in Las Vegas last week you no doubt came home having met a ton of new people and took in lots of new ideas and information.

Is it possible that you also came home feeling low despite all the things you learned and experienced? How is that possible??

Join me and my guest, Amanda Picone, as we tackle one caller’s question about feeling like a failure after WPPI.

If you’d like to share your thoughts on this episode or, better yet, ask your own question that may be featured on a future episode of CONVERGE, just call 949-829-3263 and leave a message.

Episode 10- Interview with Dane Sanders

This post was written by Katie, a Dane Sanders Intern.

Dane was interviewed on this weeks episode of the  WPPI  Podcast.  Listen to Dane discuss what he is bringing to the table at the 31st WPPI in Las Vegas. Through the interview Dane talks about how business and creativity can come together to build success for those who struggle between being just an artist, or just a business person. Dane helps those interested in getting into the industry by lending his thoughts on what he feels is most important to get you on the right track, in a quick and effective way.

Listen to Dane’s Podcast here. Podcast #10.

What would blow your socks off?

WPPI was such a blast this year.

One of my favorite things was the Fast Track Blogger Lounge as well as the Fast Track Jelly on the second floor. None of it could have happened without a crew of folks chipping in.

Between The Bui Brothers, Skip Cohen of WPPI, Amit Gupta of Jelly and Photojojo, the amazing volunteers, the free WiFi, the incredible Jules Cafe cookies (thanks ladies) and cozy lovesac section (SFW), I think we had it pretty good! I can’t believe we were able to offer that for free. So cool.

You can see how my friend Aaron saw it on “The Big Picture” above.

What I’m really wondering though is if you were there (or even if you weren’t), what kind of experience at a trade show could we create next year that would absolutely blow your socks off? Wanna help us make it a reality??

Share with us!!

What would make a space like that remarkable, given that it’s a trade show? No from-the-stands, drive-by, color commentary please… only ideas that you’re willing to make real with us! What I mean is if you have a suggestion, picture yourself helping us make it happen. If it passes that leadership test, share away! We want you to play a part!!

Bless you guys and thanks again everyone!

Crépes in Paris, anyone?

WPPI is the one chance a year to really get some connection time. But, it’s also crazy hard to connect if you don’t have a plan. So, in the hopes of maximizing, I thought it couldn’t hurt to just shout out loud where I’ll be in the hopes you’ll swing by and say hi! Mornings in Paris (see the title of this post) are awesome. In fact, we should just make that a daily habit don’t you think?

All my talks for Adobe, liveBooks and Pictage are brand new. What’s really exciting is that in addition to a bunch of new announcements this week, I’ll be launching the Fast Track pDNA Assessment Tool and will be giving a handful away for free. I hope you can come!

To help, I put my schedule (subject to change) below. For spontaneous connection (which I love!), the best option by far is to follow me on twitter.

This year's schedule at wppi

If you’d rather plot out your time a bit, you can also stay updated by regularly viewing or (better yet) subscribing to my WPPI iCal.

Can’t wait for those crépes!! Get there early … I hear Jeff is buying on Monday.

Keep it Vegas!
